For what its worth my scout had the #1 and #2 flipped, but both should be solid #2 pitchers. Even an ACE is things go well. I rarely count on any pitcher being an ace.

    Good picks guys.

Which begs the question, how many true aces (surefire #1 type pitchers) are there in the league right now?

Just wanna say, RobD has an unreal collection of young pitching right now....DJ 'The Brick' Engstrom, Ed 'DropKick' Carroll, Ke, Torres, and Phelan.

The second half of this decade could be dominated by Dukes pitching if these guys develop

Some are growing out of it, while others are growing into it. I think we have around 10 or so which covers nearly half the league with an ace.

A couple options left I would be really happy with at 1.5.

With the 3rd pick, Indianapolis selects CF Jimmy Gray from the Rice Owls.

Really tough pick for me here, as there were a couple of pitchers I really thought about, but I just wasn't sold on either of them. I had one hitter I honestly would have taken first overall if I had the pick, but he's more of a one dimensional guy.

Gray has the potential to be an impact guy on both sides of the ball, and that sold us on him.
