Like Engstrom. In NO he will not be rushed to contribute.

I'm very interested in seeing who Z goes with with this pick.

I'm curious as well. I see a few players lumped together talent wise. I had Fajardo and Engstrom as my top two. Regardless, late firsts to move up here is an easy choice.

Again, I wouldn't bet any cash against Z's selection strategy as I am a results oriented type of dude and you can't argue with his results. But in all honesty, I just didn't see anyone outside of Fajardo or Engstrom that was worth the cost of that jump.

There is some really good talent left though. He may just see some untapped potential that I'm missing.

For what it's worth I was coming up into the Top 6 for the same guy before I knew he was trying the same. I like the kid he is taking a lot.

I only draft in the first round about every leap year so I'd take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Amyot is the only OSA stud left and my scout has him at 3-2-3-3-4 or something horrible like that for potential.

I thought about moving up but not worth it. There are some decent pitchers but nothing like days of old.

There is one other guy I really love but he won't be around longer than another three picks.

Still, I looked and I like this draft. I'm confident I can find someone in the late first round that will contribute.

One thing I enjoy is seeing some of these guys with great college and high school numbers. Seems to me that the ratings are just hiding their talents. I can't recall so many players being dominant at those levels.

There's a guy my scout thinks should go 60th in the draft and he put up an OPS over .900 in his Junior and Senior years. Plus he's an elite defender and can run with the best of them.

Yeah, if anyone wants to give me a bunch of first round picks for my late round picks, I'll take them. I'm sad I don't have my second round pick now.

                              I have a clear #3 and #4.

After that....not that impressed so far.

My scout has him right around the same as yours. Quite the discrepancy in OSA and scouts opinions. Hello red flag!
