2010 Maine Guides Milestones & Records Watch
* 3B Tristan Romarigues, the Maine Guides' all-time hits leader, needs 133 hits to reach 2,000 for his BLB career.
* RF Steve Suarez sits 19 home runs away from 200 as the season begins.
* 1B Frank Zamora, who batted .344 last season in Philadelphia and Toronto, will take a crack at the Guides' single-season batting average record, which stands at .357, a mark set by Subaru Hiraki in 1979.
* C Voodoo Ray Davila challenged the franchise home run record in 2009, falling four home runs short of tying the 47 hit by Don McGuire in 1993. Voodoo will take another crack at the record in 2010. T.J. Dunn's fresh BLB record may be within reach as well.
* LF/DH B.J. Mulcahy may also have a go in 2010. Though he hit only 23 home runs in a down 2009 season, he is only two years from smashing 42 bombs.
* SP Fernando Hernandez currently holds the franchise career record for best winning percentage. His .733 winning percentage at present exceeds Gervasio Dealba's .721 career mark, as well as Teagan Corrigan's and Gil O'Moore's.
* Reigning Pale Ale Pitcher Adan Neubauer notched 244 strikeouts in 30 starts in 2009. With a few more starts, the Guides' franchise record — Gil O'Moore's 258 in 1987 — is well within reach.
