Until someone traded for him and then he miraculously became human again.

Trade Rumors Abound in Death Valley: It is unknown at this time if there is any truth to the rumor that Death Valley's Jimmy Jones has asked his team for a trade. Insiders indicate the left fielder might not be happy with club management. So far, the team's owners have refused to comment.
Gil Brummett Gets Diagnosis, Out 2 Weeks: The injury that has kept Gil Brummett out of action since 09/15/2009 will keep him out a while longer. Death Valley Scorpions officials made the announcement this afternoon. They said that Brummett is expected to miss at least 2 weeks with a tired arm.
In 28 starts this season Brummett has crafted a 8-4 record with a 2.91 ERA.
Castellanos to Miss 14 Months: The medical report is in: the injury that has kept Cleveland starting pitcher Willie Castellanos out of action since 09/15/2009 will sideline him for another 14 months. The 31-year-old Castellanos, who has a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament, said he heals quickly. "I'll be back soon," he said, "and I'll pick up where I left off. "
To date this season, Castellanos has registered 29 starts, 13-9 won-lost mark, 2.92 ERA, 191.1 IP, 175 strikeouts and 43 walks. Opposing teams have hit .222 against him.
Krummen Signs for 3 years: Baltimore fans celebrated as word of a signing became reality. Travis Krummen won't be pulling up stakes anytime soon, as he has signed a 3-year extension at a pay rate of $4,750,000 per annum.
Since he is widely seen as an integral part of the club, Baltimore officials had to keep Krummen from jumping ship.
In 2009 Krummen has hit at a .243 clip with 102 hits, 5 home runs, 56 RBIs and has scored 54 times.
Dinos DuFour Blanks Patriots: Los Angeles hurler Travis DuFour put on quite a show today as he blitzed the Pawtucket Patriots with a 5-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 6 hits with 7 strikeouts and 1 walk to pick up the win.
The opposing manager told reporters after the game, "I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball."
To date this year in 28 starts, DuFour has crafted a 10-12 mark with a 4.44 ERA.
