I liked Leger, and he was forcing me to make a tough choice with the 5th pick. Should be a really good bat, only concern was his eye.

With a 2nd pick in the first round, I think this is a great choice by Tom. The talent is thin all around but especially on the offensive side. With another 1st round pick in the bag, I think its a smart selection at this point. I think he'll be really good.

Great pick Tom. With numerous picks thought about taking him at 2.
People are going to think its "Risky" but not going against my gut on this.
Jon Talley "Beast of Burden".
Love his velocity, love his stamina, love his stuff, scout had him at a 7-6-5 with stats and verbage to suggest he may also be a better control pitcher then claimed.
"Fragile". I had Tyler Gerald, Raulo Guiterez amongst other for years and had good success health wise with them. I only see one two week injury and two "day to days". Hopefully our team doctor who's legendary with arms can keep him healthy.
Career has been consistent not flashy, but some year to year progression.
Showing a 6-5-3 right now so expecting a fast track to the BLB starting in AA and most likely at AAA by years end.
Well one pitcher down........PAWTUCKET PATRIOTS

I'd personally be scared about investing the 2nd overall pick in a "fragile" player. I know some fragile players have made the BLB but what scares me is if he has one major injury and becomes "wrecked" he is done. I am also a bit nervous about how many homeruns he has given up. My scout has him movement a "5" but in 44 starts, he gave up 25 homeruns. Not terrible but in two seasons it was almost 1 per start. But I do love his velocity, current ratings, stats, personality and his defense.
