P Dave Lockhart was my dark horse 14th pick I looked at. Might end up a starter if the dice rolls right. he started in 06 or 07. For what its worth my scout has his stamina at 5.
Nice pick.

Fair enough. We're certainly glad we had 4 first rounders last draft and not this one.
I liked last seasons hitters. You got the only real pitcher I thought.
My favorite pick for us this year was Beanpole at #6. My scout really thinks he's going to be an ace, but didn't want to take a chance with a high schooler. Looking at some pitching staffs (Windy City) if your patient they can really pay off. At #2 happy to have "Beast of Burden" at that pick.
#8 "Cubby" was a nice safe back of the rotation pick and at #14 we still ended up with a potential power hitter in Harward. Ironically we don't have many OFers going in our system so made sense.
Bottom line for us, we feel the top prospects list for pitchers right now is a joke. Pawtucket has 4 of them I don't take a alot of them very seriously. I expect a massive shakeup after the June draft gets entered. Hitters I wouldnt be shocked if 5-7 debut with only 4 players really sticking in the top 50. Your #90 prospect is safe.

I can package Wences with my 2nd rounder for prospects or future picks if anyone needs a pick and a higher end SP.
I would but my list is empty.
I had Garton, Lockhart, and Kimball left and they all went 22-24. I wanted Lockhart because he's 6-6-6 and my scout has him at 6-5-6. Kimball is an OSA potential guy that my scout thinks won't ever be anything.
