Set a list. The clock might expire on you and you'll be autoed.

Pick 24 is probably a 1B. Still nice to options.

Would of been my pick had he landed on us. My scout drooled on him. Still happy my other kid lasted.

Spent a long time preparing for this draft and so far going pretty good.

I also liked one of those catchers. Really only like six or seven guys I targeted in this first round. Happy to get two of them.

I like Ochoa. He could be a good one in 5 years.

I already have C Todd R who's only 22 and now C Dave P who's 21. Made it a bit tough to look at Catcher. Still, I thought overall this was a nice C/ SS class. People think if there are no aces they deem the draft sucky.

Don't worry, 'Moon Dog', 'Long Haul' and TWO 'Beast of Burdens' will be available next season.

This is one of the weaker drafts in a while.

Last years was the worst. This isn't great either, but my scout dug the hitters , though what's up with the eye issues? Granted I have a tool scout so sunshine and rainbows.

Oh forgot about 'Beanpole' next season also. Wow.

It's normal to get draft ebbs and flows. Also happy the RP are calming down. Sick of 100 shut down closets showing up each season. This needed to be balanced. Appears the game is handling it.

                    • There are definitely more starters. And in turn more starters who should become relievers in the minors or when failing as starters early in their careers.

That's how we are doing it in Denver. Bit by bit, just turning starters into our relievers. As more starters come up, more starters will join the pen.

                      • We keep the pick and take SP Tyler Clarke. OSA has him lower, but I think he's going to make my scout's 6-6-5 projection. He has some zip on his pitches and 4 nice ones in his arsenal. Excellent intangibles and despite his stats this season, he's pitched well previously. Looks a lot like Pulido who I am very high on.

Thanks for the offers, but I think the talent ledge is near.

                              • LF Vin Betty was the guy I was after. My scout sees him already at 5-4-2-3-6 with more room to improve. Safe pick for us and we need to fill out our farm.
