Went with OF Al "Refund" Anguino. My scout says 7-4-2-4-7, with 7-8-7 speed, 7-8 bunting, 7-5-4-5 infield, very high int and work ethic. A bit risky as an international, and I spent little to no money on the draft because I initially didn't have a 1st, 2nd or 3rd...but I'm excited about the pick. I was between him and two other hitters that I think will go fast. Hopefully I made the right choice.

Giving up OF Willie Garcia and a 2nd next year is a pretty steep price to pay but I have a bunch of outfielders at the major league level currently, my farm system has a lot of infielders and not a ton of legit OF prospects. Hopefully this works out...could turn out pretty bad if Anguino lives up to his nickname.

7-5-2-3-7 POT from my scout. Nice defensive CF who won't draw alot of walks, but won't be striking out alot either. If he can get that 7 for contact, its a great pick.

On our list. Wish he had a larger sampling size, but that Intl players.

Yeah, he's going to be a free-swinger. His contact, avoid K, speed and ability to bunt for a hit kinda reminds me of Ichiro. He has the potential to hit .350, but might only have a .390 OBP, hit a few doubles and triples due to speed, and should steal 30+ bases. My scout already has him 7 at LF, 8 at CF, 8 at RF and 5 at SS. In the minors I will probably play him exclusively at 2B. If he can be an 8 at all OF, a 6 at SS/2B, he could prove to be a versatile weapon.

You say .390 OBP like that's bad.

Ha! It's just when you see a guy with a career .320 batting average, you expect a little better than .360 OBP...I just always wanted Ichiro to take a few more pitches.

Just noticing the guy Indy took...my scout says 6-6-6-2-4 potential....OSA says 4-7-7-4-5....won a glove wizard...two time hitter of the month...one time hitter of the week...one time hitter of the year...a 26 game hit streak...great intangibles...great defense...great speed.....

I might have made a mistake.

Hey, I'm on my day off and took an unexpected nap from about 10:30 to 2pm, but I'm awake now and will have my pick in soon.

Took Milledge because the allure of a power hitting infielder was too much. I'M SURE I WILL PAY FOR MY GREED.

Pawtucket takes a gamble on 18year old INTL SP Yutaka Omura

Second best pitcher in this draft, least from what my scout had him.

POT 6-5-6 with OSA 6-5-7. Intl stats looked pretty impressive, but as stated small sample size.

Not a developed 18 year by any stretch, but we grow them slow around Pawtucket so that's ok. Its why we acquired so many picks in the first place.

                        I hate internationals!

                        But Omura has good ratings.

I watched Jistic draft a bunch of them that turned out good. Yeah they are more of a gamble, but also tend to have a high upside.

13th pick so it felt right. My list didn't have him as a top 10. Usually prefer more sure things in that range.

Nice, I'm glad you like him. After he fell to us I was worried my scout oversold me on him, so I'll take your approval as a good sign.

The injury is a risk, but hoping he bounces back quickly.

I just hate his eye. I never have any luck with those players in my farm system

We need to roll back the picks to #14... I didn't make that pick and there's no way 4 hours already burned off the clock, did it?
