In a surprising move the Batavia Muckdogs released new uniforms and a new logo for the upcoming 2007 season. Though not a drastic change critics have already stated they enjoy the new look and many are glad to see the end of the sleeveless jerseys.
"After a disappointing end to the 2006 campaign we figured there was no better time than now," the GM stated in a brief press conference while flanked by team leaders Javy Sanchez and Danny Gonzalez. "Our last change was prior to the 1991 season and over the last 15 years those uniforms brought us a lot of luck and love from our fans. We hope the new designs are just as prosperous."
Team officials later announced that anyone who purchased a Muckdogs jersey in the last year may exchange it free of charge for the new design.
