From what I can tell the "actual" first pitch rating tends to be the tell. A lot of BLB pitchers who have a poor first pitch are widely considered "border line " or "emergency" starters.Originally posted by fsquid View Post

There are definitely some weird labels.
I've seen pitchers with three pitches 6 or higher and stamina of 5 and get labeled borderline starter.
