      • Baltimore Draft Recap:

3.3 DJ Palmer (CL), The U
-7/6/5 potential by OSA with 3 dominant pitches. DJ has damn good intangibles with a very high work ethic and even higher intelligence, although if he does make to the bigs he's going to want to get paid. His stamina looks like he'll only be a reliever, but he was dominant his senior year going 6-1 with 1.48 ERA and a NCAA leading, 3.56H/9IP and 0.89 WHIP to match. My scouting team doesn't think his control will ever make it to big league level but obviously I disagree.

          • Baltimore Draft Recap:

3.9 Dave Webb (OF), Orgegon State

-If I'm being completely honest, I didn't mean to draft Webb. I was trying to draft Alex Gondinez and accidently selected Webb. Either way, I'm still happy with Webb who had a magical season with his college squad, helping Oregon State win their 2nd NCAA championship since 1988. The kid has contact ability but I'm not too fond of his defense and doubt he gets much better in that aspect.

Godinez was already gone. I took him.

Updated his draft clock for the 2hr time period. Technically a draft from list doesn't result in auto pick.

                            • Baltimore Draft Recap:

3.10 Joham Baiano (C), Long Beach State

-Glad to pick up Joham here. Originally from Venezuela, Baino has spent the last 4 years of his life on the beaches of SoCal. Baiano spent his sophmore and junior years on the bench but as a junior got his chance and played well. In his senior year, Baino exploded with 15 homeruns and 13 doubles while OPS'ing 1.048. Widely considered one of the 3 top catchers in college baseball, Baiano's coaches also raved about his on-the-field leadership, desire to win, and high work ethic.
