    We picked up Ian Phalan, the 2004 HS Pale Ale Winner who must've been snatched off the team by his parents for bad grades or something because he didn't pitch in 2005? WTF?

    Well either way, here's to hoping that he becomes something special at the next level now that he's a professional player.

      I've also noticed that there are a fewer BIG high school arms. Looks like you take more of a chance on those guys to develop some power.

        2005 BLB Amateur Draft

        With our second pick of the draft, we pick up Tom Franks. Listed as a 1B, he'll be moved to the middle infield with his skillset. He also looks like he could also be groomed to become a shutdown reliever as well.

        The kid is a real all around talent.

          Northwest getting slammed with snow. This area is just not set up or have the infrastructure to deal with it. So I'm stuck at a friends house near work and wont have game access for the next 24-72. So for that reason... Pittsburgh is on full auto.

                    Pick is in. On to Round 3.

                    CL Terry Krause from FSU.

                    OSA has him at 6-6-8 potential with 8 stamina...my scout has him at 6-6-6 potential with 8 stamina. Led FSU to two straight NCAA Championships and the Super Regionals this year. He'll be a bullpen guy for us unless he gets that 3rd pitch...then everyone will think I Clay'd.
