He was the most popular guy on the team apparently.

            That's disturbing.

I also really didn't realize that McPherson played with Verba.

Maybe I should pay more attention to this game.

                • Took C Dave Richardson from Oklahoma with our 2nd pick. OSA likes him a little bit better than my scout but we don't have any good catchers in our system. He had a great season in his first year as a starter, leading the NCAA in HR's and RBI's.

                  • Jistic picked up Dave Allen. Would have been my first pick but I was scared off by the 4 contact.

I've had a few guys I drafted in the first round with that dreaded 4 that improved one to 5 one to 6. Hoping to catch lightning in a bottle again.

                          • With our only pick in the Top 4 rounds we took RF Shane Berry at 2.2. Berry is a lazy bastard, but if he hits his potential he could bat .270, hit some homers, maybe walk a bit, and he runs well.

If someone wants to trade out of the 2nd, I still have a few on my board.

If anyone wants picks next year and prospects from my system now, I'll trade a whole bunch for a frontline SP.
