I can't get to the draft link now.

      Getting this:
ERROR: You do not manage team 89 and are not logged in as a commissioner.

      Had no issues all morning.

Log out and back in. It seems to be an issue when a team is in the process of having an auto pick fire for them. 89 = Indy, the last pick.

Looks like I'll either get the pitcher or hitter I like.

There is another hitter that I think has the best potential, but I'm afraid to draft him this soon. If he somehow falls to me in Round 3, I'll draft him. I doubt he falls that far, though.

If anyone after me wants to trade out of the second round, I could be interested depending on what's agreed and if certain players are still available to draft at the time of the agreement.

We take Pulido despite the injury. We'll see how it works out.

Death Valley took the pitcher, so I'm drafting the hitter. Henry Rodrigues.

At first look appears to be just another Verba defensively. But Rordigues has better range and some experience at CF. We will likely give him reps at CF so he can learn the position in the minors.

Good speed. Good power. Will strike out a lot and isn't lead off hitter material with that eye, but I like him hopefully being somewhere in the middle of the lineup.

Decent risk. My scout had him as a top 4 arm in the draft. The injury obviously impacted his draft position. Nice get at the top of the 2nd though.

I tried to trade up for Yoyo at 2/3 and Cornell in the middle. Pulido was my next best pitcher.

I wanted Cornell in a bad way. And then Jake popped him right in front of me.

Those were the last 2 guys on my initial list. Usually I don't lose my entire 20 in the first round. Interesting developments...

                          • OSA has Dave Dunham 5/5/8 with three solid-to-good pitches.

And his college stats: 285 innings, 331 Ks, 22 BBs, 27 HR, 2.43 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, 21-8 record.

                            Worth a shot.

                            • If Duffy can somehow get his movement up, he will be one of the steals of this draft, imho.

Also like Rordigues and Byrge. Odd how this draft isn't chock full of skilled RP like every other draft ever.

That's how I feel about Duffy. At worst, I think he's a solid 4-5. And he's close to BLB ready with some time still to develop. I was happy to see four guys from my initial list were still available, and I'm hopeful I can get one of the three that are left with my second 2nd round pick.
