Well I had to trust my scout and he had Hernandez second overall behind one of the pitchers and he was better then any of the other infielders I looked at. Probably try him at both 1B and 3B.

2003 BLB Amateur Draft - Starting 09/12
And with the 4th pick of the 2003 draft, Baltimore selects:
Todd Taylor.
Tom made this selection easy for me as I was teetering between Oto, who is going to be a beast btw, and Taylor.
Lefty, plus pitches, and OSA LOVES HIM. He's already pretty well developed, so I don't expect that it takes him long to make the jump. Very glad to get him.Last edited by Delandis; 09-12-2013, 03:12 AM.

With the #5 selection in the 2003 BLB Draft, the Los Lunas Javelinas select from the Oklahoma Sooners, 1B TJ Dunn
What a difficult decision that was. There was another player I really had my eye on but I like Dunn's huge power potential. Maybe if I was in the IL I would be selecting another player since Dunn doesn't have a lot going for him in the field. He's a big boy at 6'6 215, bit of a string bean so hopefully he can put on some weight and really club it out of our ballpark.
As soon as the draft list came out I was thinking of taking Dunn but didn't know if he would be available at 5. Hopefully my scout is right! Might take a while before we see him in the BLB.Toronto Canadians - 2004-
