      What's going on in Chicago?

Playboys Mum on Mejia Absence; Cite 'Personal Issues'
Tuesday, August 19th, 2003: Windy City starting pitcher Edgar Mejia will miss the next few games to tend to "personal issues". Mejia refused to elaborate on what exactly the issues were, but added that they were "more important than baseball, that's for sure". Playboys manager Clint Cameron commented that it "wouldn't be long, but we have to plan in the short-term to be without him".

4-2 and a decent week to keep pace with the Wildfire.

Barrios wins another POW, his 3rd for the year. He's having a mini-monster season. And to think I almost let him a few years back. Good thing no one thought he was worth a 1st rounder.

Also Torres is still undefeated since leaving the west coast. 5-0, 2.16 ERA and a very confident ace right now.

If someone can move my posts, that would be awesome. Not sure how I ended up in Canada.

                    Not bad, considering the pressure.
