Yeah, I don't like Washington either. But, again, like Los Lunas... they are for some reason a "SHAVERMETRICS Darling". I'd mess with the formula, but, all things being equal... they've been pretty decent recently.

Well it might be a good season. Shavermetrics usually has me at the bottom of each division. This is probably the best team I've fielded from top to bottom since I came into the league.

Wow. Last year's worst team is apparently going to finish ahead of six other teams this season, including the perennial "team to beat," the Pittsburgh Millers. I guess I was wrong - you CAN improve your team through free agency!

I am prepared to make sure Rancourt starts every game against you this year.

Looks like the Shavermetrics were right about Washington. Huh.

Shavermetrics has actually been really good this year. Partially, I think, because people don't trade as much. Even Los Alamos in 3rd (the worst call on paper) isn't AS BAD as it appears considering that, even in 3rd, SM called them the 13th best team.

...and Pittsburgh. Naturally, Shavermetrics took into account the fact that Z sucks.

All these "how great is us" posts by Wahington have angered the OOTP gods.

                              Sorry for your loss Pat.
