Wow. I just assumed we always ran it in a 2 week sim. I don't know where that thought came from, but I thought it used to be a 14 day sim in the past.

No need to get all bent out of shape. I was merely stating that because had I been aware of this I probably wouldn't have DFA'd anyone to avoid issues with running the sim.

      Same here.

I was going to respond to this earlier, but I wanted to wait and get all the facts before I went around blindly accusing people like some kind of asshole.

We had him long enough to throw him in the lineup.

Also, is all this fighting for real? Stop acting like some titty babies!

I was wondering where our annual off-season argument was.

On "non-standard length" SIMs, I always handle DFAs the same way.

If there's room in the minors, I move them. The only time I ever release a player is if there is no way for me to move him.

I know, right? I think I'm mellowing as I age.

Btw, I almost fell out of my chair at the Phillies game when you texted me the other night.

I wasn't trying to jump on anyone. Overreacted.

I wanted to wrap my monthly quota up early in April. You're welcome.

Sanford and McDonald go down. The injury plague continues. At this rate I'll have no one left again by mid May.

Ok... so how many days is the next sim?

As in, if we DFA someone they're not going to get released before next sim right? We should still have a few days on the DFA counter when the next sim is run, correct?

It'll be 18 days. The issue is caused by the 1993 calendar and the fact that we force our season to start on a Monday.

We'll do it this way.... if anyone is putting someone on DFA at the start of this SIM and has any unique instruction other than "stick them in the minors", just send them to me.

Well, it's not a big issue. I'll figure it out, I guess. I had two guys DFAed that I was hoping to use the time to figure out what I wanted to do with them and the rest of my minors. I should have just kept them on my Spring Training Roster and DFAed them later, but it isn't a big deal. They probably would have been released anyway.
