  • SIM COMPLETE - 1981 - Regular Season 6

Another average week. Went 3-3 taking 2/3 from Wilmington, then losing 2/3 to California. Go figure. I still gained 1.5 games in the division though.

After all the complaining about Gil O'Moore, he gets diagnosed with dead arm and is out for 2 weeks. Probably random, but still pretty cool considering he was pitching like he was hurt. He's only missing 1 start but hopefully it will snap him out of his funk.

I sent one of my Rule 5 picks, Castel Lafantano back to Hartford. He walks way too many guys and getting hurt this sim was the kicker. Clint Waits, who has 2+ solid seasons in AAA will most likely get the call.

bah, 2-4. swept by davenport (bullpen let me down again!), but took 2 of 3 from Philly.

looks like keppel is keppel after a sim. maybe there's not much to worry about... hopefully everyone else turns it around.

      next week, division foes.

rivalry matchup against LL. then trying to make up some ground on Sin City.

          Socorro in 3rd at 20-12

1-5. After an offensive explosion in the 3 games prior to this sim, the bats just disappeared. Speaking of bats, we were swept by the Washington Bats. We lost 1-0 in a 15 inning game in which the Los Lunas offense could only muster 6 hits. That should never happen. Grandon comes back soon, so hopefully the bats can pick it up, because the pitching has been pretty good, minus Gugierrez.

Huge series with Hyundai, but not for the same reasons as in the past. Currently both teams are below .500, 7.5 and 13 games out. But, when the Rhinos (:)) and Javelinas get together anything can happen.

2-4 against the DL's best. How'd I luck out with that interleague schedule? Boo.

2-4 but still 5 games over .500. As long as finish over .500 I'll be happy.

Tough start for Harcourt for Denver.

Very happy with the 4-2 week. What in the hell has gotten into Lonzo Serma? This is the guy with a specatular rookie year in '78 but has floundered since. Now he's leading the league in HR's.

Kawashima comes off the DL this week, but I'm hesitant to let him start.

Also Joe Hernandez is 5-0, and Cobellan is 2-0 since coming back up from AAA. THese were the weak links of the staff.

Still only a 1.5 game lead.

                          5-1 this sim.

I've lucked out the last two sims as far as scheduling, so I'm kind of skeptical with how hot my team is. Next sim I have three on the road in Baltimore and three at home against Wilmington.

                          I have my doubts.

I worked on my Organization for about 90 minutes late last night and before I could export or save.... the game shut itself down and I lost all of my changes.

                              :(

I was almost replacing my CPU this morning after removing a size 14eee.
