I wish I could watch this game. I think I'm going to do that tomorrow in my own time. That's just baseball right there! Go Pilsner!

Wish my guys could have made it to .500 but I admittedly tanked the last sim. Not for any bad reason, but mostly to rest guys and not risk any major injuries. Donnie Green still pitched in relief despite this because OOTP is stupid, but whatever. Browning stuck it out as a DH and hit amazingly well for a nice finish to an otherwise rough, injury-plagued year.

Got to see some more of the young ones too. So that's always nice.

Good luck to everyone in the playoffs.

If this were the real MLB, all of the attention would be on the Colonials because I have begrudgingly decided that we're the Red Sox.

        Old, old, old Franchise.....

        Bad for DECADES....

Arguably cursed (see Wilton Harcourt's $30.0 at bat)....

Big budget, but always quick to point out the teams with the bigger budgets...

Then, all of a sudden they're good and the world becomes chock full of the most annoying fans in the world.

I wish it weren't true... but... I think it is.

Bats finish the season 83-79. Worst season since 1984 (82-80) and only better than 1979 (81-81) and 1980 (72-90).

Good luck to all the teams in the post-season.

            BLB Record 121-41...

17-game Win Streak coming into the playoffs...

We'll miss Magness and O'Hegarty... a little nervous about how good we've been the last two months. Seems like we're overdue for a bad week... and that's all it takes.

Stunning, my best pitcher out for 6 months. Good think that puts him back in April.

As usual we close strong, just miss the playoffs and fuck up our draft position. BUT...I love my new guys. There is hope!

Now the bad news....and I knew this was coming, Cristian Rivira's ratings dropped due to his injury. If we didn't have bad luck we'd have none at all. His potential to be a star is already dead right when it was just getting started. "Solid" is now his ceiling. Stupid OOTP injury system ruins another young player.

We sneak into the playoffs once again only to give Virginia a bye in the first round.

Hopefully we can play them a little better than we have all year, they lead the season series 11-1.

My boy Vern Branch comes in HOT! He always hits well against me. When I dealt him to D'Port, it was between him and Maeda. I kept Maeda because (A) a gut feeling and (B) I felt Maeda would be a little more durable. I think I made the right call, but Branch still ALWAYS seems to play well against me.

I won't miss Glen Prince. That's another guy who seems to bring his A-game when we play.

Well that didn't go well. I guess if we were going to miss the postseason we might as well improve our draft position.

Guardamagni picks up his 3,000 strike out but falls two wins short of 200.

Play really declined after returning from the injury. Might not have that many wins left in him.

Yeah, Vern Branch hasn't had his best season this year, which is too bad seeing as he's in a contract year. He's going to need to make it up in the playoffs.

Now if only the rest of the team could play the Colonials like those two guys do then maybe we'd have a chance. I think they are a little too intimidated, the whole below .500 vs best record in the league is very demoralizing in the clubhouse.

It was a tough spot between securing the #1 pick and having to live with the ignominy of a 100-loss season, but in the end it was an easy rooting decision.
Congrats to us. 99 losses. I have my fingers crossed with everyone coming back from injury we have one of the biggest turnarounds next season.
