  • SIM COMPLETE - 1992 - SIM 26.1

NEXT SIM: Tuesday @ Noon (or SOONER)

    ***

There IS a 1-game playoff that will be played in a one-off SIM.

REMEMBER... everyone will need to get down to 25 on their ACTIVE ROSTER. You CAN export before the one-day SIM.... OR... get the new file after the one-day SIM and do it then. The important thing to remember is that if you D/L today's file (MONDAY), but don't export before the one-day SIM, you'll need to get the new file and export.

I know... it's kind of screwy... but... I think the one-day SIMMERS deserve this chance.

    Hit me with questions!!!

Congrats to those who are in... good luck to the guys in Game 163!

3-4 Sim. Dam you Zamaro!!! Wonder if this will cause some lockeroom tension during the playoffs?

Lol, well Maine wasn't impressed with resting my players. Swept. Took 3 out of 4 from Pitt to end the season on a positive note.

Opio stayed healthy, but little bit of a blow with CF Samuel Helmrich out for basically the playoffs. His power and hitting against lefties will be missed.

Otherwise 107 win season, our team's lowest ERA EVER! Let the playoffs start.

Batavia v B'More could be fun in the 1st Round. There is certainly some momentum on one side coming off this SIM.

The DL Pale Ale pitching award is such a toss-up this year. Seems 3-4 guys have a fair claim.

Has there ever been a tie?

Thank god. I'm not gonna say I tanked those last few games, but I definitely wasn't rooting for my team to win them. It was a tough spot between securing the #1 pick and having to live with the ignominy of a 100-loss season, but in the end it was an easy rooting decision.

Got to 100 wins, the best in our history, even with all of the big and little guns tucked away for the week. I am very proud of our performance this year, as we are in the finally playing and not watching in October. Good thing Gil is back for the playoffs.

The downside: we have to start by face a very capable Batavia squad who is also very excited to make their first playoffs. They usually play us pretty tightly, and if they get a lead late its over for us. With Batavia, you have to score runs early because they can really slam the door on your candy-ass.

                        Should be an exciting series.

I was really not expecting the playoff to be where it is. Wow.
