Z, you don't have to worry about Dallas catching you. In the last 2 sims:
- Brode: Out for 3 months
- Rodriguez: Out for 4 weeks
- OT: Out for 4 weeks
3 key guys to our team gone for the season in the midst of the playoff race. OT practically carried the team in Aug (.346, 4 HR, 16 RBI, .455 OBP) and Sept (.306, R HR, 9 RBI, .390).

I noticed, but I am still concerned.
I have 13 games left. Of those, I have three against Indy, four against Pawtucket, and three against Maine. That is a tough schedule.
I knew O'Moore was going to be hurt when I "watched" the game. He walked too many guys early. I really liked seeing that (the uncharacteristically early walks, not the injury).
Well five more to go and we have our division. Potential to get interesting with both O'Moore and Grady on the DL. Fortunately, Wallace found his swing at the same time as Castor, who is only 2 RBI away from tying Keppel for the single-season record.
On another note, for the IL ROY, before we crown Pat Gates, voters should look at Morgantown's Doug "Stinger" Coates who has been very good this season for a much improved Mohawks squad and (of course can't resist pimping my own guys) Victor Escamilla (OF) who has been outstanding since called up this year. He's another star in the making, and will be the guy to replace Sato when Takanibu finally decides to hang them up.

Gus Jenkins > Doug Coates
Not saying Jenkins is the New Brew, but Coates isn't.
Our bullpen continues so shine with pretty much everyone 3-4 runs higher in their ERA than last year. At least they're all pitching in.
But enough about the negative. Our callups have been spectacular. I really hope Clarence Willis is the real deal because he's playing tremendous.
Hernandez and Draves in the OF have both played great and if you count Rivera who debuted this year and hit .364 before being lost for the season with the concussion, we've had trememdous success by a bunch of rookies in the hitting dept.
I'm still amazed by Jared Williamson.
