Knee-jerk reactions (1981)

I know Philadelphia is putting his entire team on the block. Other teams are ripping out their hair. But is anyone else doing anything?

For myself, the bullpen has been my downfall. Thus, I have made a few changes, and called up a new guy to make his Bats debut this week. Just hope his addition rights the ship a bit.

Anyone else making any big changes in response to a poor first month thus far?

Nope :D

The only change I made was shuffling my lineup around while Subaru is out. I think I'll need to add a starter at some point in the season if Gil O'Moore doesn't improve, but his ratings have gone up so I'm expecting him to start pitching better soon.

I moved Will Porter into the starting lineup in place of Noboa, but I figured that was going to happen.

Other than that, I'm very happy with my team's play.

Frustrated that the bullpen blows game after game, but they got me far last year so I'm gonna stick it out for a couple more sims. if it doesn't improve, I'm gutting my minors for any decent arms.

Nothing here. My new 2b and 3b, AA callups, have been playing great. Robbins will heat up soon. My bullpen is the best in the BLB, and they're young. That group will only get better once Nunez comes off the DL in a couple weeks. It also helps to have some very talented relievers sitting at AAA. The starting pitching did a nice job this past week, after a rough start.

I'm half tempted to trade Rogado and/or Steward, but I doubt I'll follow through.

I had all my knee jerk reactions in the off-season after a .500 year. So far, even though I'm in last place, it's way to early to do anything.

I don't think I can make any knee-jerk reactions on a couple of levels.

1) I have no one really to move up to take places of anyone I would give up on

2) I haven't even played everyone in the division yet. Bottomline is, all you have to do is win your division. Do I expect to? No. But, those are the only teams I need to gauge myself against. I went 2-2 with B'More and 2-1 against Philly. I have a huge week coming up with 4 against the Bats and then the Wildcats. If I can come out of this week close to .500 in the division, no need to react. Easier said than done with Bill Johnson out for this entire week against division opponents.

Anything that happens with my youth will happen late in the season. Oyos could come up in September, but I doubt it. Watanabe may come back to the BLB, but only if I need to let him.

My only question mark on my radar right now is with Cafferty. He is pitching OK... but he is PISSED. Might because of how the team is playing. Don't know. Have to monitor that. He may be looking for greener pastures.

I don't think they are mad about them starting. They are mad about signings, waivers, trades, cuts, etc. Or something.

There's "player performance" and "team performance" so that should answer your question :).

Still not seeing it. THere is Morale listed above status, yes I see that down the left hand side. But there's nothing clickable.
