I figured out Prez was bashing the Bock and saying Virginia would have a 1st round bye against them...but I was hoping it would be Virginia vs. Wild Card not the team with the worst record.

I'm sharper than you think. My mama learned me good.

So you "hope" to play me in the 1st Round? You don't even want to win a series in your first trip? You should work on taking out B'More before taking your L.

The kid should still be alright when he gets back, but I really feel for Hartford. They really can't catch a break. Maybe they should consider changing their logo or something.

We play you tough. Baltimore has owned us this season. If I make it...and am somewhat not inebriated since it will be the greatest day of my life...I want to play the champs!

Is it possible to have day games in our schedule?

Definitely a possibility. Good young talent coupled with a balanced park makes you dangerous for anyone to play in Batavia. I picked you as the wildcard early on. I just need you to hold on to the spot so we can fight for the right to take out the champ.

Your team is very similar to VA in a lot of ways, and grudgingly(not that I picked you but I have to grudgingly admit VA is very good), is why i picked you for WC. I believe you also have a good chance at GMOY Award, as well. You've done well despite not having the dough guys like me sling around haphazardly.

I don't think so. I asked about this a while back and Andrew said that we'd have to find a schedule with 24 teams and day games or make one ourselves (or something to that effect).

I would love that dough! I can only dream if I had Kubota behind the plate. Instead I have my awesome platoon team of Hidrogo and May...attorneys at law.

Davenport played me tough last season.... then I put football scores up on them in the playoffs. Just sayin'.

I do hope you make it though.

BTW - Carolina beat me up this week. I'm officially in the "Don't Sleep On The Tobs" for a September division run. No one else seems to want it.

For reference, in three straight series they went 2-1 on the road @ PAW, @ PIT and @ VIR. That's impressive. I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'.

Bad sim, got swept by Syracuse in a bunch of close games. Got 4 huge games against Los Lunas this week. I'm shaking up my lineup and calling up Gene Dixon. He's a hitting machine we drafted out of Clemson a few years back. Also gonna call up fellow Clemson teammate Norm Sutton to take a spot in the starting rotation. Jerry Ferrell has been horrible and is not even being a respectable 5th starter.

                            Huge, huge sim for us.

So I come home from work to that. Wow. Just when I think I'm starting to put something good together with my trades and my drafts. That's depressing.

He's young, he'll be back. Sucks for next year, but he'll be ready to go for 1994.
