The door opens slightly for the team that wants to knock me off the mountain. Nate Magness - who was having a career year - is done for the season including playoffs. HUGE loss. That means a rookie (Jenkins or Bernal) will get the #4 spot in the playoff rotation. Feck!
No team has played in and/or lost more 1 run games in this league than us. We're young and developing so I just have to be patient and believe that will turn around with age. What's funny is we find every conceivable way to lose them. I've lost cuz of the SP, or the Bullpen which is actually pretty good, and of course hitting.
One bright spot of this season has been the quiet development of Jared Williamson. To be 13-6 on a team with this record says something. The kid just wins. My scout gave him a ratings bump around all start break and the kid has been lights our for the last 6 weeks.
We also resigned him to a new contract that he might want to fire his agent over.

Nobody's gonna beat Virginia for you. Put on the big boy pants and do it yourself. Then we will all pay homage to you as champion.
I believe you have misinterpreted my post.
I requested a bit more success from the Mock so that Baltimore could have the bye instead. Its hard enough for you guys to get to .500, so the last thing I would expect is for one of you to beat Virginia.
