          In this case it does.

          Wallace this season:

          .393 avg at home
          .333 avg on the road

That's why it's hard to agree that he'd ever hit .400.
I knew it was only a matter of time before the lead Stoutette chimed in.

Little to do with location. Has everything to do with injuries over the last two months. Before then he was hitting .378 on the road and .430 in Baltimore.

Are there any 8 OSA and 8 scout contact guys out there? With above average avoid Ks?

Edit: maeda comes close but he doesnt hit for that kind of average normally.

I think this could be broke. MAP hit 40 HRs in '90 and now the dude is almost out of baseball.

                  Isn't Chavez around there?

Oh nope. OSA doesn't really like him.

Beast Morgan could take a shot at some of these marks in a couple years. He's 25 years old, playing in Pittsburgh, and OSA has him 8/8/8/6/7.

                      I agree.

Castor had 22 home runs at the break. He's only 22 and will be playing in Baltimore at 1B for a long time.

My scout believes he's awesome and still has a decent amount of growth left.

lol, you're worse than JJ was with Gremades. Nobody is saying Wallace isn't a great player. There's a lot of things that need to go right for anyone to even sniff .400. Wallace has that joke of a ballpark in his favor, but he'd have to hit well over .400 at home to make it happen. Not one of us said he isn't a good hitter on the road, but it's obvious his road numbers are going to be well under his home numbers.

I think someone hits 50 also. It just need to be the right guy in the right park.

And he needs to stay healthy, and his division needs to be relatively devoid of pitching. Kellum hit 39 in our inaugural season at age 35 while missing an entire month with a scratched cornea. Someone can definitely hit 50 in that park.

And I'm sure when someone does, everyone will poo-poo the accomplishment and trash the player because of where it occurred. But that's ok.
