    Rank 'Em: Unbreakable Records

    Season Records? Career Records? Streaks?

    There are a lot of really lopsided records from the early days of the BLB. What do you see as the records/streaks that will stand forever (or at least the longest).

    Steals. As untouchable as Daly is on the bases, he's not coming close to 87 or whatever the record is.

      Yeah, I think that's gotta be the top of the class. Steals and CGs in the early years were so out of whack.

        Will anybody play long enough and well enough to get the all-time mark though?

        Its only at 453....46 steals/yr for 10 years....doable?

          Virtually Untouchable

          1) 0.65 - Single season WHIP - Pancho Herrera (1 caveat, Herrera himself could possibly sniff this again)
          2) .394 - Single season AVG - Adam Nickell
          3) 87 - Single season SB - Sonny Fulton

                Just noticed, with the ass-whoopin that Wallace and the boys took last week, he's now the all-time leader in batting average.


                What about RBI...Keppel's been very good for a long time, does anybody ever catch him?

                        Everyone that starts out hot tends to tail off at the end of most seasons, in most stat categories. Not saying it can't be done, but Wallace did the same thing last year.

                              In this case it does.

                              Wallace this season:

                              .393 avg at home
                              .333 avg on the road

                              That's why it's hard to agree that he'd ever hit .400.
