lol, I'm by no means complaining about 10 Colonials. Just wanted to make that clear. It jumps out at you, but it's hard to make a case against any of the 10.

I also think Tucker deserves to be there. He's been very consistent this year. He didn't ride a recent hot streak to those numbers.

Well, to be fair to me, I only "picked" 3 Colonials. 7 got in from voting.

I wouldn't have minded seeing Joe Sanchez get a little bit more love this year (he's been really good for us), but can not argue with team as put together. Good stuff guys!

If I'm not mistaken, the very first thing you said to me was that O'Hegarty was making the roster and there was nothing I could do to convince you. It's not like we really needed three shortstops. Even further, you and I both know that Tucker deserves an All-Star spot over Magness....and probably all those RP "snubs."

Joe Toapanta was far more deserving of a spot over Magness.

Did I mention that Toapanta is on the trading block?

Toapanta has been the best pitcher on my club all year, but I think Tucker is the more deserving All-Star. Yes, I know it's an overrated and almost meaningless stat, but Tucker is 9-4 and Toapanta is 5-6.

No. He was a manager pick.....a Shaver pick.

Tucker got in with 4% of the possible votes...keep telling yourself he's deserving over Crossman and Rodgers.

And I have no issues with 10 Colonials...they all have nice numbers. My point was simply don't try to take the high ground and cut a player from a team that has only a few players going so "everyone" can have a rep, when another team has 10.

Think the DL will generate this much discussion?

You're right, I don't think that Tucker was a top five SP in the IL so far this year. I did not vote for him. But when you stack his numbers up against the remaining SPs who aren't auto-bids, I think he is easily the best choice. Great record, low ERA, low WHIP, high K and rate. Oh, and his BLB manager is the IL All-Star manager....and the game is being played in D.C.

There are MR snubs every single year. This year is no different. Sure, Rogers and Crossman received a lot of votes, but not enough to guarantee them a spot. And to be quite honest, they aren't even the two most deserving MR snubs.

Oh, and Brad, Joe Snchez was one of the five relievers that I voted for and I think he is easily the biggest pitching snub. If anyone has a gripe about a reliever snub, it's Zabel.

I miss where someone was "taking the high ground"...

We decided to add a player from Cali and Carolina - they were relievers - we replaced relievers. That's not high ground, that's fact.

I did say that and stand by it.

O'Hegarty should have been the starting SS, but 90% of Owners voted two SIMs earlier than they should have. However, Ednams got the spot... the next best MINF available in the IL was O'Hegarty, To me... that made him a lock.

He was one of my 5 RP votes too.

I think DeLacy should be relatively high on that list of snubs as well. Top 6 or so in ERA, VORP, K's, K/9, and K/BB.

Magness still didn't have the numbers to go.

I agree 100%. Picking your own non deserving players over guys like this is why the discussion started!

Edit...let me rephrase that by saying a "less deserving due to another player having a better season so far" player.
