That's about right... but that reality and your perception are a little askew.

Way to go down with the ship, Captain.

I'll admit, there's only one team in the IL better than we are but right now, there is no team in the league playing as well as we are.

18-1, without the league's leader for the batting title.

Power Rankings have you #1. It's not your hitting that's winning...it's your 2.78 ERA for the month...almost 1.5 runs better than the rest of the year!

          I know.

Moving DeLacy to platoon closer with McKay, getting Vaughan, and promoting Soriano as a decent lefty long reliever/spot starter has really paid dividends. Its tougher to rally against us as we have a few lefties to counter some of the more dangerous lefty hitters in the league. Those late inning rallies were killing us earlier in the year.

Is there a sadder career than Chuckwagon Sasaki's? I feel bad for the guy.

The dude certainly hasn't been spectacular, but he's been pretty good his entire career. 3.66 career ERA, 1.26 WHIP, and he's got 5 straight losing seasons and a career 63-78 record to show for it. He's been clearly the best starter in our entire organization this year and he's 5-7.

I guess that's why you ignored my PM, Skerik.
