Washington Bats - SIM 11 - (36-34; 2nd) 1-2 @ Davenport: L 4-5, W 5-1, L 4-7 3-0 @ Philly: W 4-0, W 4-3, W 9-4
Can't complain about a 4-2 week, on the road, against two of the best teams in the IL. Could have been better, actually. Should have played better in those two games against the Brawlers.
The Good
Is it too early to write off MAP? He has been awful for the past year+ but a bright spot this week. .444 .545 .611 1.157
Has anyone ever heard of John Fisher? I get a lot of shit, or used to, for hoarding BLB has been's, or BLB never will be's, on my Triple-A team. Fisher is a perfect example of why I do.
The Bad
What a huge miss Don Woods was in his debut. He pitched "better" but not "good" in his second start. He will likely be sent back to Triple-A and the search for a #5 continues...
The Injured
No injuries! Hooray! I get Shaw Barnes back from injury after being out since Spring Training with a concussion. Grounds and Headington are still out a few week(s).
What's Next?
Homestand against the Tobs and Kodiaks. Both teams I normally struggle with, but I think this could be sweeps week. Get your brooms out kids.
Wilmington Wildcats- 2057- Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041 Washington Bats - 1979-2013
All jokes aside... B'More is having an insane month right now... but... again... I can't take a team serious until they're playing .500 ball on the road.
