Cano's been hurt, but I'm petitioning to have him added to the ballet. He still has the 5th highest VORP of all DL catchers, and has thrown out 50% of runners, the best in the league.

      Pagan
      Rogers
      Ramirez
      Etheridge

All deserve cosideration. I think Pagan is a given.

Could be my first ever pimp...

3B Leonel Tesina: He'll be 35 in September. This could be his last opportunity for All Star fame. .324/.429/.490

OF/DH Ramao Cavadas: I know...He's a rookie and full-time DH this season. But he swings a nice stick, and he's a lot of fun to watch on the base-paths.

SP Chris Gallegos: Over-achieving this year. That's what I like best about the All Star game...Honoring the pleasant surprises of the season.

MR Manny Ramirez: He's been over-achieving for 4 seasons straight. Screw the scouts. Time to give him his props.

MR Yushiro Uchida: He surrendered the spotlight to JJ "Crackpot" Black; but he's just as valuable in that bullpen.

Only one Brawler should receive consideration and that's SP Glen Jones.

            Jones is 7-2 with a 2.63 ERA and a 1.29 WHIP.

It should go without saying, but no one from my team deserves a vote. I appreciate whoever gave Cantrell a sympathy vote, but there's no reason for any player from my team to make the All-Star team.

Is there a reason rookie Tim Godron isn't even on the ballot? Not enough IP?

I usually don't make comments about allstar voting, but how is Dani 'Steady' Alvarez dominating the DH allstar ballot when this guy has already been on 3 different teams this year (Including the IL league) and his VORP is like 4th against the competition he is up against???

Was it the simple "12 HR" stat?
                      Name recognition?(The Ozzie Smith Vote)

                      Just curious.

I agree. I voted for the rook. He's arguably having a season on par with Alvarez anyways.

DH votes are thrown out so why does it matter?
