9 unearned runs in his starts. That Alvarez trade sure did make that defense better.

We've gone from having the third worst defense in the league to the fourth best (including the early numbers) in a few weeks.

That tends to happen when your offense scores an average of 7.75 runs per start.

That's barely enough run support for Tim Nathan. Ship him to Davenport and he becomes good again!

You're just jealous that my #5 starter has a 2.83 ERA.

And what the hell do you know about pitching? You have one starter whose ERA is under 5.20.

                      I'm in first place, Brenda.

In a division that has the reigning DL Champs -- enjoy the rare compliment, clown -- the dynasty that is Maine, and a Hartford team that is better than Wilmington.

We've played how many games? Oh, I forgot, you settle for the little things. Congratulations on winning your division's 1st quarter championship. When's the ceremony?

I'm not celebrating anything, just dismissing your silly remarks about it being folly to think a first-place team in a tough division is going to win something.

And to think you haven't even made a blowjob joke yet. Your restraint is impressive.

That was a refreshing sim, minus the Wallace injury. I think I'm going to have to start managing his on-field time better. This is the 2nd straight year he's had an injury right before the All-Star break.

Hey you leave the Millers alone! They are a wonderful pace horse to have around.

                                Pawtucket 5-2

Slowed the Miller machine down a bit and played better overall. I'm starting to really like Jerry Robbins

Up next week a small taste of the Bock division. Last year Pawtucket was rudely swept by Los Alamos so lets see if we can make for a better showing.

Wanted to see Christian in his new Windy City uni's this week, but...........
