Sweet, sweet 4 game sweep of Denver and Carlos is in Hawaii where he'll forget about it in 2 minutes. Terrible timing.
That's about right. I saw the 0-7 sim. Then stepped out into my ocean-front window and admired my surroundings.
edit: By the way, anyone else having trouble downloading the league file? Maybe it's the ocean and sun interfering with the WiFi at the Waikiki Edition.
Shout out to Dan Jones who has been pitching in this league since the very beginning of things and finally pitched his 1st career complete game shutout in only his 451st career start.
I guess the most frustrating thing about this sim was my scout now telling me that Shawn Ray, Joe Dominguez, and Ruben Marin are just okay, if not below average hitters. All three of them went down a point in contact, and Jarava went down a point in Eye potential. When you see almost every other team in the league getting better...including one team that was +7 across the board...sigh. OOTP giveth, then then taketh away. Brutal ending to a great month.
The Long Ball
The pitching staff gave up 10 HR's in 7 games...with Athey and Walters each giving up 3 each. We only hit 5, with Nan hitting 3 of those. We're not a HR hitting team but we can't be giving them up if we expect to keep winning.
The Rookie
We were excited to see that Joe Rojas won his 2nd straight ROTM award. Currently on the year he's hitting .329/.424./508 with 4 HR's and 36 RBI's.
The Future
2 @ Baltimore
2 @ California
3 vs. Philly
Another 7 game stretch...are you kidding! We just played 9 in a row, one day off, now 7 in a row all against the Porter. Talk about a war of attrition.

Don't worry about it. Your scout could be off, or the guys on your team could just be close to the border of a rating like 49/50 and so on and so on.
I'm sure your guys didn't lose all the ratings you think they did.
