My scout thinks he has the tools to be a superstar but fears he might fall a bit short and be just a good player. Nolan for whatever reason, played 1B for the Titans, however, my scouts think he will be a top notch defensive infielder, likely at 2B or SS. I also really like his intelligence and work ethic. Plus, he will be in the bigs sooner than later.

I went back and forth between Nolan and another hitter...who I assume will be off the board in the next 2-3 picks. Maybe even the very next.
Quality pick. For sure move him to SS if you have a need there.

        • Keeping with our theme, the Colonials take another 1991 Champion in Hector Baez.

Love Pat's pick right before mine. He was my 1b with Baez. I think he's a legit SS prospect... something the BLB is in short supply of.

It's not easy. Pat's pick broke my heart and you helped him do it. I don't even know how you can live with yourself.

Could be a huge steal. I considered him at 10.

              • Philly's pick is in and so is Denver's.

                Pawtucket is on the clock.

                  • My scout really liked the Denver pick - Hautberg - but I overruled him due to the FRAGILE tag.

                      Ditto this.

My scout also endorses the Baez, Nolan, and Gomez picks. They were all on my short list of hitters.

                          • It seems this draft is going to form for the most part. Not really surprising since we all should have 4 years of scouting on these players.

                            • I'm starting to see a huge dropoff in talent left. I may be on auto after my early pick in round 2.

                              • Exactly. I think I only see maybe 2 players that I want to take a chance on at 1.20, and one of those guys is a maybe. I'll be in chat if anyone would like to make a deal.
