The draft is setup, but I'm not starting the clock until tomorrow. If the early pickers want to publicly disclose their picks... that's fine. But, with #2 on the block, I find that's highly unlikely we'd get past #2. So, in essence, the question really is... does Carolina wanna tell you who he is taking...

We're technically two SIMs behind... but we finished the draft in like a week last year. We're like 8 SIMs away in-game. I'm not worried.

I'm not going to start a new thread on the trade block with 2 and 5 out there, but I'll be looking to move down from 1.15 and get a few extra picks since I don't have a ton this year, or stockpile for 93. If you think you're interested in moving up or getting an extra first, I'll do something cheaper right now than once we get to 1.15. Not looking for a lot, just extra picks this year or next year. I have no issues moving completely out of the first and into the low 2nd.

Well, like others have said, this draft has a couple of marque guys, and then the talent level dives off a cliff.

I see at least 18 guys who have legit Top 100 skills/makeup. I think I can get 3 of them by the end of Round 1.

DeLeon, Gaston or does Carolina go for pitching although the draft isn't as strong (according to my scout) in this area.
                  That's a good question.

Gaston has to be one of the more advanced hitters we've had come through the draft, right?

I think last year's class had more "ready to go" players in it. If Gaston were a little faster, he'd be the prototypical Colonial.

I know you (Linty) and I seem to have like-minded Scouting. I think there is quality talent here.

Gaston holds the single season Cape record for walks and has already surpassed that number in 1992.

My scout seems to like 2 position players quite a bit more than Gaston.
