Yea, my heart skipped a beat as well when I saw that. Hate to see young talent go down. Luckily, like you said, only 4 days.

As for Linty and the champ injury cheat...eh, it's one player. It's 6-7 weeks. He'll be sidelined another two turning it into a two month rest. If anything, Clay is probably going to love having a fresh O'Hegarty for October.

Also... looks like the game is already going out of its way to do its annual screw the previous champ with injuries cheat.

I swear, the game does all it can to make sure there are no repeat champions.

I see it as more of the "big extension injury" over the "Champ injury" thing. Either way... it's Spring Training. Leaves me very lean in the IF to start the season, but if this is as bad as it gets, I'll take it.

Wilkerson got released because Syracuse didn't export so he automatically got released from DFA.

Gosh dammit. I made a bunch of moves for this sim and I guess I forgot to export. I even double checked everything before I left the house this morning and thought I exported again. Shit shit shit.

Anyways, sorry. Thanks for catching that. As far as contract goes, before I DL the new file I'll take a picture of the salary report screen. It showed him with three years left of arbitration, through 1994.

As of this second, he's guaranteed at 12 per for the next 2 with a potential ARB year in 94. Please send me the salary report screen AND his salary tab.

So is re-adding guys who were dropped due to DFA the norm? I lost a guy last year for this reason. I didn't say anything because I figured it was my loss for forgetting to remove him from DFA and I thought that was the penalty.

The reason it isn't the penalty is because it's a trade and the sims cover a span of many more days in the off-season.

If you waive/DFA someone during in-season sims, and the time expires, there are no excuses.

All players involved in this thread were on the teams DFA list. The trade and sim did not automatically cut them off...owner's forgetting to export did.

I'm not against any teams losing any players due to a mistake...but what's the cutoff?
