FYI - Both Maine and Virginia were under the CAP, but were pushed over by 40-man call-ups which is acceptable. Virginia and Maine can not sign any players this season without moving players. Call-ups are still acceptable.

There are a handful of teams in the 90's. Keep in mind that FA signings can NOT push you over $100 at this point.

Does the schedule look the same as last year's? I loaded a new one, but I'm not sure it's correct.

Looks the same to me, though I haven't done a complete review. Open with Davenport and close with 4 @ Cali. Same as always.

Definitely the same as the Pilsner is playing the Stout a second straight year and third time in four years. It's cool.

The start date is different, though. We had 6 games in October in 1991. Only four in 1992.

Pawtucket has one OF & one RP position battle going into Spring Training.

The opening day lineup itself is basically all set so just praying to the injury gods the next few sims!!

I'm still not buying the spring training rating bump.

I'm a little confused on how to handle this. I still had about $780k to move before the last sim but because a bunch of players were automatically added to my roster that number is more like $4 million now. I thought we had decided we needed to be at or under the cap by opening day so was thinking I needed to move $4m but now you're saying I'm OK?

The players that were automatically added from your system for Spring Training do not count. So, if you still need to drop $780k, then you'd still need to drop $780. I thought you'd got under.

Why don't they count? Are we looking at the salary cap at the start of ST or at opening day? I understand why we're not counting call ups during the regular season but it's going to be confusing trying to figure out what number to shoot for. I think I was still around $780 over but don't remember the exact number.

780k seems close enough. Lol I was looking at a trade to bring you under, but the person in question only made 480k so I knew it wasnt enough.
