I have no pity. I had the Top 3 Stout Slugger finishers this season... that could have caused issue in the locker room.... but that's just the kind of Owner I am. I manage egos.

Probably. DL is worth half a run or so.

              We'll see.

I don't like the chances of any pitcher going over to the hitter heavy DL.

Not even one of the best in the game.

If you think about it... in the IL he gets to face a pitcher/PH for one inning of his starts... that's a nice luxury to have.

I have no doubt that he won't match his 91 numbers. But I think something in the low 3.00's and 1.10ish WHIP is more accurate.

Actually, I didn't say he would win.

I just said his numbers would deny Doorbell from winning another.....

If life is a drug, we are high as hell in Baltimore!!!

I'm not sure how that works. Does Castor hit so many HRs that there are none left for Woodbury? Wallace doesn't have the power to ever win a Stout Slugger. Hell, the IL missed their window. Woodbury, when he's done winning them, is just handing it over to Maeda and Chavez. The SS may not leave Virginia till post Y2K.

I'm also on the Wilkerson disappears train. The combination of falling off the Top Players list and Linty's drive to sell him screams something is amiss.

Your team is good, but you my friend a bad case of overconfidence.

This post is tripping with irony considering the posts in this thread.

Its not overconfidence when you're holding the hardware. I see it the same way as I do "excess celebration" in the NFL...if you don't want to see the dance, keep 'em out of the endzone.

The door is open. I have position battles this spring training with the likes of Danny Nelson, Lonnie Scott, Doug McPherson and a rookie. Someone just has to be good enough to come take it.

As far as I can see, Wilkerson is still listed as the #3 best pitcher in the game.

I didn't see the point in holding onto him with a team that's not going to be ready to compete for a few years.

Will be interested to see how he fares in Syracuse... who already features two former Kodiaks in Chip Snow and Robby Sears.

Oh you guys don't have the Commish's copy. ;)

Yeah, I know he's still there, he did drop a few spots in the last few months, but has made his way back up.
