I know I eluded to this in the candle thread, but I've been working (for a day) on a couple stadiums for the replay screen. My plan is to work with the owners who care about what their stadium looks like and for those who don't, be as authentic as possible and eventually have 24 unique stadiums for the BLB. After that, like I told Linty, I'll do minor league teams by request... I've always been a ballpark guy so I like doing these.
I'm just playing around with these, so if you're the owner of one of these parks and you hate it, just tell me. I can start from scratch with something you like, or I can not do it at all, it's whatever and it won't hurt my feelings. If you do like the direction, but want me to add, delete, change... I'm happy to do whatever. Just let me know.
Disclaimer, I'm not quite sure how to incorporate these in multiplayer, but I'll figure it out and I know it's possible because I've seen it talked about on other online league sites. Disclaimer 2, the base stadiums here are not my original work, I just took the files and customized them on my own. They're from various stadium sets on padresmods.net, but unfortunately none of the ones I've worked with so far note a credit to a specific person. So, I just wanted to lay that out there because I know internet folk can be possessive about their work, and I've posted the originals just so people can see the original work.
That being said, I've got four parks at a level I'm comfortable posting right now (they're not terrible) and a couple mid process (Colonial Park, Big Top, Rocky Top). I tried to pick owners I knew watched games, and I'm not sure if Z does or not, but I wanted to do Pittsburgh for a specific reason. Some of the vets might catch it in the picture.
The problem I ran into is, the files I'm starting with, everything gets cramped on the field when you get to the game screen. So I've had to stretch some things out. After I get a couple parks up I'll post a couple pics of how the in-game screen looks. It's a give and take, the zoomed in pictures fit everything better, but the zoomed out pictures look better.
Anyways...
Baltimore Bulldogs - Phillips Field
I'm an idiot and thought this was Philips field... after the electronics company. So excuse the Philips logo painted on the right field wall.
This was the first one I did so I could probably go back and add some more, or clean some stuff up. But I think it's a damn good representation of the wiffleball field that is Phillps.

And, so Wilmington can sell out a game...
Any thoughts or comments... or changes anyone wants made, or stadiums anyone wants "built"... let me know!
