:?: We're still in the early stages of the 2nd round. You haven't picked yet. You made your first rounder and the sandwich pick at the same time I thought.

Good pick. I had him as one of the highest rated players left.

Oops, looks like I gave you a 3rd rounder (Round 5 in our draft) instead. Is it correct now? I changed the 3rd rounder back to Los Lunas (who got it from Carolina) and changed the 5th rounder to yours. You didn't acquire that 3rd rounder in another trade did you?

Any thoughts on my two picks: Raphael Pepin (CL) and Mike Murdock (C)?

I had Pepin as my #9 overall player in the draft.

I liked them both. I almost took Pepin at 1.13 and Murdock was who I would have wanted at 2.9 if I hadn't traded for Bill Johnson.

Oh I read it wrong. All those picks in round two were fake. So round 3 is really round 2. Sorry, really out of it.

I went with Damian Calderon for my 2nd pick. I need some hitters in the minors and he looked decent. My head scout had him around a 56 ovr, but my 2nd scout had him as one of the best players in the draft. Chances are my head scout is right, but you never know.

                    • i absolutely love this scouting feature... now, all they have to do is fix the signing of personnel in this game, and it'll be great.

I was deciding between Pepin & Smith. I went with Smith because all my scouts gave him a 7 for control and gave Pepin a 5. I figured as a closer you really want a lot of control so I went with Smith even though Pepin was rated a point or two higher overall.

Yeah, I thought I had 3 third rounders. As Rubisco said, I think it looks right now.
