Nope, it's a straight style draft.
Actually, Jistic does pick back-to-back at the end if you include his sandwich pick. He'll have picks #20 and #21.

Not sure if this is what you meant or not Jistic.
Ahh that's right. I got confused. Sorry.

      Inexcusable!

I think I deserve a sandwich pick for having to pick up your slack.

So, to the draft itself. I wanted to take Newlin at #4, but couldn't pass on Yan Van Can Dan Span A Tan. He's a good player with elite speed something my team has none of. I thought Newlin might slip to 13 (not likely, but I hoped). Instead he's the next pick... in my division... (sigh)...

I think I made the right decision... but I will be watching him closely.

Chewning was a little off my personal board, but so far no major shockers.

        Let's keep it movin'!!

My two top 10 picks were used on the two best starting pitchers in the draft in Tardif and O'Connors.

I'm hoping those two can anchor my rotation for the next 10 years in about four seasons.

It was too hard to pass up O'Connors at #7. My guess is he would've easily gone at #8.

No, I was set on Nago.

Thus far, the draft has gone about as expected, besides one guy I am a little surprised to see around... I got a few guys targeted at #27 and #29, just hope they are there.

Congratulations of getting the 4th best CF in the draft...

I actually had Nago as the #2 OF. Plus, I liked his set and intangibles a lot better than Yan Van Damn Thank You Mam.

                  I like his giant face.

I must be missing the intangibles... although he is from Hiromshima... does he have an extra eye or something?

The more I look at it, the more I think he might even be the best hitter in the draft.

According to my scouts, he is the only player in this draft with a "7" on contact. He is one of six players with a "7" or better on gap power. He is one of six players with a "6" on eye. He is one of six players with a "six" on avoid strikeouts.

"7" on loyalty, intelligence, and work ethic, are the intangibles I was talking about.

Only one of my scouts has him with those kind of numbers... and he is the drunk one.

No leadership ability and little desire to win... looks like he's going to right place.

Yup. A team full of leaders and an already winning attitude.

                          While we wait....

What will Dallas do at #9????

                          **My Guess**

Just looking at their team, my guess is that he goes one of two places - left side of the infield or CF. He has nice young pitching in the farm in all roles. He could go Middle Relief, but I'd be shocked if he went there this early with the talent pool in that area.

Prediction: Antor Corona (OF) or Theo Haggett (IF)

Moving on to #10 and Denver

                            **My Guess**

This is a no brainer. He needs a closer in his organization. This is the easiest one. Slam dunk. No doubt.

Prediction: One of the two or three sky high relievers available.

Not to slow things down but I'm going to hold off on making my pick until I get home from work - it'll be in about an hour or so.

It's not your pick and it's not a rush...

Dallas is still on the clock and he has till late tonight.

You got no pressure and plenty of time.
