I will forever look at 1991 as the year that Browning lost out on a well-deserved Glove Wizard while playing for a team that had the best ZR in the DL.

But, I'm not angry enough to want us to vote for the winners. Hard enough to look through all the players and decide.

It's whatever. Browning is my Glove Wizard.

It was tough to see him go but he no longer wanted to be apart of the Davenport franchise.

At least we know he'll be close by.

Remember that arbitration offers go in this SIM. Also, please be working proactively on getting RULE 5 eligible players protected. Please don't leave me with a nightmare RULE 5 sim full of trades. Be proactive.

          2. Morgantown just signed the Bats 1st ever closer, Washi Koizumi, as a bench coach.
Sorry bro but I needed that. My lifelong scout got killed in the conversion to OOTP11. So I hired a new one last year to a long contract, and he retires this offseason.

I'm in the same situation. My lifelong scout was money. One of the very best. Then he got killed in the conversion to 11....and I was left with an average scout, at best. So I fired him, to sign LeGrange...and now I have no scout.

So I have $18,328,874 in the bank according to the utilities...and Cal has a little over $15 million. When can that money be used and is it just transferred to your cash budget?

So couldn't have Linty (if he wanted) transferred it in to re-sign his SP? Or is it during the pre-season only?

And it says EOY cash in only $10 mil...so will I lose $8 mil?

Found this in the rules so I can transfer it and it will be put in cash. Just curious what the max I can have is again.

                Stadium Fund/Cash Reserve
                • Establish a Cash Reserve
                  • All money received from bonuses and luxury tax is placed in the cash reserve at the end of the postseason
                  • For teams that finish the season in the red, their cash reserve will automatically be used to help cover this deficit
                  • Teams can withdraw from their cash reserve at any time
                  • Once withdrawn the money acts as normal cash and is subject to the cash max rule
                • The Stadium Fund is eliminated. All money in the current fund is transferred into your teams cash reserve
                • Stadium modifications will come out of a teams normal cash budget or cash reserve

Where are you seeing that Matt (the financial utility)? That was hosed before the beginning of the year and isn't in operation as far as I know.

If you submit an arbitration offer and a contract extension to a player this sim - they can't accept both, right?

Because of the Syracuse trade (no room at any level) there is 1 day of SIM before Arbitration. If the player accepts your offer on that one day, he SHOULD not appear as arbitration eligible.

Conversely, if it makes it to arbi before he decides on the offer, the offer would be null at that point.

Bottomline, both can't happen and if by some glitch they did, we'd fix it.

It's 11/24/91 in game... players file for FA on 11/28/91. So, if they're not arbitration eligible, you have 4 days.

For reference, this SIM will run from 11/24 - 12/01 (Rule V Draft).
