Oh no sir. A $45 million dollar roster with a $100 million dollar budget is definitely by design.

I'm actually starting to get the hang of this game, that's all.

Now that would suck. To pay 20+ million for one guy to sit on the couch and the other to defect to Washington or even worse.....

The sad thing is...the game got it right.

Ideally, Linty was probably hoping that Donato would decline, because he is injured and Toapanta would accept. But IRL, no way Donato would decline and it actually makes sense for a top veteran SP to test the FA waters (Toapanta). Especially after his team just lost it's best pitcher for the season and failed to make the playoffs for the third time in the past four years.

But I don't think Linty is kidding. I doubt he walks.

I didn't see budget-friendly, 9 mil price tag and low greed, until he said something. If I were Cali, I'd be doing some Ebay right now.

                      A) That's the Brewmaster's Cup Champion Colonial Way

                      B) When was the last time you beat me in the playoffs? Oh wait, you haven't.

                      C) Blow me.

                      D) Most importantly, I'm right. Who won a title loaded with FAs? Draft and Prospect for Superstar trades.

He will need to move some people quick. We got on more sim before they can file?

Am I missing something? Linty has plenty of money to spend if he wants to lock up Toapanta. He's 25 million under budget.

On the main part of the game he has 9mil for extensions for this season.

I'd have $20 million if I was on Batavia's budget.

                                Edit: Make that 25 million.
