We definitely took the backdoor into the playoffs and as Pat eluded to...the backdoor out of the playoffs.

Yeah, the pre-2003 comparison that I see is the Division rivalry that is renewed in the playoffs with one team dominating the other in October.

As for this divisional thing, honestly, I don't even give a crap anymore. I just want Denver to continue winning games.
I like the idea, just keep it simple if possible. Also, not sure it needs to happen every year. Almost like the world cup.

Boo. What happened to Pilsner love?

I think Clay made some great points earlier, but I think fielders should be able to play any position even if they didn't play there primarily during the season.

Also, it should definitely happen at the end of the season, not the beginning of the next IMO.

In related news after Ken Bayers disastrous season not only does he still want out of Batavia but he's entered the Witness Protection Program. Any tips on his whereabouts please report to the Muckdog front office.

<------------------ Possible artist conception of his current look.

I'm not suggesting that we allow guys to get hurt during the tournament, although I wouldn't be opposed to it either.

But if we run the tournament in, say, November, I think everyone who is already injured at the time of the tournament should be ineligible to participate. Guardamagni, for example.

I think we should allow for players to get hurt, but because it's a seperate file, it wouldn't effect the real BLB universe. But if a fragile player makes your All-Division squad, then yeah, he can get hurt and miss games, etc.

I think injuries should be OFF during the Tourny... but I stand by injured players not being eligible. It defeats the purpose of running it at a set time of the season if the real world has no impact.

I heard that Jose Guzman actually signed his contract extension on the set of a yet to be released movie that he is currently working on as an extra.

I love that a Walt Disney flick shows a review on it's cover from critic who works for ABC.

I still love the Pilsner, but I find myself caring more about the real games than these exhibition affairs.
