On a personal note, shame on the two Owners that left Olivo off their ballot completely. I can see not 1st place... barely take a case for a not 2nd.... but leaving him off completely is an attempt to control who wins.... or moreso... who doesn't win.

Technically, I didn't lose. He still tied (by all accounts won because he has more 1st). But, no, it's nothing the same. I can make a case for leaving me off a ballot. I can make a case for leaving Funclown off a ballot. Same with Daly and Basil. But I don't see how you can say 3 other IL relievers had a better season than Olivo. 1... sure... 2... maybe... but not 3.

I voted him 3rd. IMO, there were a few guys that didn't get votes that were puzzling, but I can't really blame a guy if he has his own voting criteria.

I left him off my ballot. He pitched well. There were also other relief pitchers who had very good seasons while throwing almost 50% more innings than Olivo. They were more valuable in my book.

And yes, I realize he didn't pitch as much because you blew teams out all year. I don't care.

Well, its a shame you don't understand how the league works. The awards are meaningless. The title is meaningless. Good of league is all that's important. When you come down off your soapbox, I'll explain to you what that means.
