Limping to the finish line. We did OK with two of our SP out, but losing a 3rd has been brutal.

              1. Irvin

...and then two other guys that aren't on Virginia's or Washington's roster. Book it!

Well, Pancho's line is his line. If it's not enough to win it, I'll live with it. I'm skipping him this week so he's ready for Game 1 of the Playoffs. With Woodbury down, I have to have my best pitching ready.

I could put up a thread to expound the virtues of my players... but... I'll let this record setting season do the talking. I think Woodbury (SS), Pancho (PA), Olivo (LC) and Daly (NB) all deserve the hardware.

Woodbury and Pancho, definitely...but I think there are better candidates for both LC and NB. But you can bet that there will representatives from the Colonials in the top three for every category eligible.

I see New Brew as the toughest fight... I'm not sure Olivo is a tough decision. I know people will argue that 40 saves on a 115+ win team is not that impressive... but come on... he had a 0.91 WHIP and a 91% SV%. He was shutdown nasty... completely separate from his team.

Shawn Mills stat line last sim. 2-0, 1 Save, 0.00 ERA, 5 2/3 innings pitched 13K's. If this dude was on good team he's have 1,000 saves. At 23 I can see him threatening 'Old Blue's" team save records as long as everyone matures.

Two winning months in a row now for this freight train as we move within 1 game of first with a full week of games to go.

Till you trade him in yet another "Windy City Firesale" and someone turns him into a Starter.

Kit Kat and Basil are going to give Olivo a run for his money.

Only because I'm going to win the rest. If you put his stats up without names or teams he'd win going away.

He might try it again, but last year as a starter he couldn't handle it. He actually asked for bullpen and my scout agreed so we went with it and he turned it around. But we'll try him again eventually.
