Oh, Syracuse and California Affiliates cleaned up the AA awards in their respective leagues. Nice.

A 2-4 week for the Tobs brings us to a cool 49-100. The #1 pick is mine, now I'm just hoping Batavia tanks as well.
We actually didn't play that poorly this week on the road against Washington and Baltimore. My bullpen blew late leads in both losses to the Bats and they weren't any better against Baltimore. It's not surprising since they are easily the worst in the league, but it'd be nice to hold a lead every now and then. We lost 3 more 1-run games this week, and we're a horrendous 18-31 in those games this season and 1-7 this month.
On a positive note, September callup Dana Scott continues to hit pretty well for us. He's now gotten in a hit in 19 out of 20 big league games and has a line of .337/.394/.442. He's not a superstar, but I'm hoping he's going to hold down one of the corner outfield spots for us. We'll see how he progresses.Last edited by liquidcrash; 12-01-2010, 10:47 PM.Washington Bats, 2013-

I hate to get excited over a 3.5% chance of making the playoffs but the last two weeks (in the IL) looks extremely intriguing. I didn't think the division would be a possibility and we are keeping an eye on the standings down the stretch. Of course, never overlooking how California, Batavia or even Davenport, could easily snuff out our candle of hope, I think that the Washington/Philly series is a win/win for us. I'm hoping for a sweep by either team, but preferably Washington. If could go in and sweep Davenport (which I'm sure Los Alamos or Windy City would love) Washington's sweep would essentially end our hopes for a wild card, but put us in a great position to catch Philly in a head to head.

We are back at full strength with future, HOF, Takanibu Sato back in the lineup and surprisingly, we are getting a great showing by September callup, 26 year old, SP-Joaquin Martinez. He pitched two nice games in September.
