The Lager is going down to the wire!

Unfortunately we just lost Jim Coker and his .302/.455/.558 line since picking him up off waivers from Carolina for the next three weeks with a hamstring strain. Hopefully another waiver pickup, Joe Iliquez, can fill the void.

          Denver will take it.

Pancho Herrera's 0.71 BB/9 would break Romano Gonzalez's all-time mark. Can Pancho keep the men off base?

He has walked 15 men all year while throwing just under 200 innings.

Unbelievably clutch 6-0 sim. Nine straight wins. Now leading the wildcard race. Five games back of Maine, with three games head-to-head with the Guides.

Unfortunately, Harcourt is now down again, leaving us without anyone who can play third base.

Also, at 42-25, the Millers have the second best record in baseball since the All-Star break.

And we have five pitchers who have won at least ten games. Including, of course, Raul Carrillo, who leads the league with 20 wins and 228 strikeouts.

It'd be hard for me not to vote for Alvarez as SS if the Millers win the WC, or take the division. He's been a monster in the DL.

On paper, Millers v Colonials would be a ratings juggernaut....

However, as is the case in the MLB... that means we'll probably get Mississippi v Davenport.
