I see. I was always talking about Guzman except for the one post where I guessed Alvarez. From there, I jumped back to Guzman not know Carlos was saying Alvarez was drafted by Dallas.

I didn't even know that.

Yea I'm not a cheater who looks up the stats like some other Porter member not named Brad, Matt, or Prez.

I think the thing that threw everyone off is the fact that Guzman has never really been that kind of producer so everyone gave Prez the benefit of the doubt that he was leaning towards Alvarez. Guzman's only hit 25+ HR twice and topped 100 RBI twice and only once did those two events happen during the same season.

The DL is like the sorority of fat chicks, that somehow convinced some freshman beauty to sign and they have been latching to her as their guide.

In that case, the IL is the fraternity with the guy who's the high school Qb, always in the gym because he's only taking three hours that semester, girls think he's cute, but he just keeps talking about how good he looks and how good of an athlete he is? Only problem is... he's never closed the deal. And his roommate, the shorter, not so perfect, couple issues with his rotat- personality guy who unbuttons his shirts three buttons but always seems to go a lot futher with hotter chicks than his roommate?

Across the hall is the player from Philly who dates a chick for one seas- I mean week, then trades up to a hotter chick for the next toga party, basically dates a new chick every week? His roommate is one of the cooler guys in the frat, but he keeps getting overshadowed by the three forementioned brothers and never gets a sniff of any girls. And, of course, there's the dude who has to crash with them because he knocked his HS girlfriend up and can't afford college anymore.

In the basement is a couple guys who somehow are in the frat but just fight amongst themselves all the time for women and beer. None of them have very much money, but every year around October some drunk chick stumbles downstairs and one of them get to dance.



And I guess, since...

You got my J.A. Wright trophy though, so you'll always have that. I get votes for that thing almost every season and I was sure I'd eventually breakthrough when I got my team to the playoffs. It wasn't to be.

and then I swept VA this year... does that make me the fat, ugly chick in the DL sorority who date raped Clay then stole his trophy from his dorm room? I can live with that.

I'm a Syracuse fan. In fact, I'm a fan of all of the Maine League teams that can keep Pittsburgh out of the playoffs.

elprez mentioned the guy traded from Dallas and I originally commented "Guzman? No."

I edited it out when I thought he meant Alvarez because he was drafted by Dallas.

That's why I say: "Yea, I get what you wrote now."

There is no way you knew that without looking up stats. Plus I already stated that I don't really pay attention to DL stat leaders. This is what happens when you take stabs in the dark (that's what she said).
