Keppel hits 400!

Let us take a minute to recognize the BLB's first ever 400 HR man, Harry Keppel!

This past sim, Keppel launched two HR's to give him 401 for his career.

Pretty much the definition of what a Hall of Famer is, in the BLB.

SS Clint Johnston was injured on a defensive play. The Diagnosis: fractured skull. This is a CAREER ENDING injury!

I thought we undid editing Career enders, but that might just be Season enders.

By what I'm showing, if we edit (which I think we do), he'll be out 180 days.

Unfortunately, with him and MAP done for the year I lose a lot of pop...and this is a lineup that sorely lacks in HR power.

It went through, but it doesn't look like the lineups took. The pitching did, but not the lineups. Not sure why. It resulted in Fitzgerald starting, among other unfortunate things.

At one pt this year, my freaken LF actually started a game (Saxton). Even in this sim, my spot starter with a 10% somehow started in a healthy 6 man rotation. I'll make sure that dont happen again.

Did you notice the last series of the year? Looks like u get the homecourt. Hope by then the series matters.

RE: Clint Johnson Injury

By rule, he's going to be edited out of retirement and back to the Washington Roster with a 180 day (prorated to 173) injury for Fractured Skull. He will be edited back to the Bats system PRE-SIM but after the exports are retrieved. I will bring him back and move him directly to the 60-day DL.

FYI

Why does this rule exist? Was there alot of career ending injuries at onetime? I had some 17/18 year old have a career ender earlier this year. I wasnt really to into the kid so I didnt care.(Seemed like a jerk)

Anyway, just curious.
